Rebecca A. Hobbs, Esq., CELA®, is the Founder and Managing Attorney of Hobbs Legacy Law Group, LLC, a boutique law firm dedicated to elder law, estate planning, special needs planning, asset protection, and fiduciary advocacy. A Pennsylvania Super Lawyer, Main Line Today Top Lawyer, Chester County Top Lawyer, and recipient of the WealthCounsel Member Scholarship Award, Rebecca is recognized for her leadership, legal excellence, and commitment to helping families navigate life's most important transitions through thoughtful planning, compassionate guidance, and practical solutions.
With offices serving clients throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania, Rebecca focuses her practice on helping individuals and families protect what matters most through personalized planning and trusted legal counsel. Her practice encompasses elder law, Medicaid and long-term care planning, special needs planning, guardianships, estate planning, trust planning, estate and trust administration, and Orphans' Court litigation. She regularly advises families facing complex issues involving incapacity, long-term care costs, disability planning, and the administration of estates and trusts. She also represents fiduciaries, beneficiaries, and families in contested Orphans' Court matters and guardianship proceedings.
Rebecca is a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA®) by the National Elder Law Foundation, as authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. This distinguished certification recognizes attorneys who have demonstrated substantial experience, specialized knowledge, and a commitment to excellence in elder law. She is licensed to practice law in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey and is accredited by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs to prepare, present, and prosecute veterans' benefits claims.
Throughout her career, Rebecca has been recognized by her peers and the legal community for her professional achievements and dedication to client service. She was selected as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2017 through 2025 and was named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer in 2026. She serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Montgomery Bar Association and is Co-Chair of the Association's Elder Law Committee. She also serves as an officer of the Montgomery Bar Association's Law Reporter and is actively involved in advancing education, mentorship, and professional development within the legal community.
A frequent lecturer and presenter, Rebecca speaks nationally and regionally on elder law, estate planning, special needs planning, fiduciary litigation, ethics, Medicaid planning, and emerging legal issues affecting older adults and individuals with disabilities.
